and no days off, turns out, kind of sucks. It's nice to escape my house but at the same time I don't know what the hell is going on in the world (well, until monday when I'm at my desk job) and I am out of touch mostly with everyone I know.

damn you, jobs!

At least you're making money and stuff.

29 days of misery all seem worthwhile on payday!

sheeeeiiitttt woman. comeback when you've done it for 2 years straight. 7:30 to 4:30 one job monday - friday. 5:00 - 9:30 second job monday - friday. 11:00 - 3:00 saturday and sunday.

Quitting my second job was probably the smartest thing I did last year. But I do miss the money.

yeah I know I just started doing the two jobs thing. And I knew it would suck but it was a matter of experiencing it first hand. I'll probably be doing this for a while, so you know.

Hopefully I make bank and can pay off my debt in no time (y)

once you quit it takes some major adjusting to get used to the extra money not being there. when i started the second job i did it to furnish my house...so i figured i'd be done in 6 months. Instead I stayed for 3 years. why is this important? its not. I just wanted to say something.

I cant even take the initiative to work overtime at my current job...it would be double pay, which working six hours a week would earn more than a full weekend at a typical part time job.

Id rather be broke and have freetime though.

usually I'd prefer not having extra cash to have free time. Dire circumstances. Hopefully this is only temporary and I can draw and paint sometime soon

I'm gonna have to work a second one too here real soon. And it blows bc I bring some bank at this job but really don't see a dime.

I'm gonna try to do freelance for Nike *crossing fingers*, then if that doesn't work I'll proabbly go for a waiter job on the weekends, or every other week. Or be a man-whore.

Yeah I have 2 jobs as well, but the 2nd one is only a May-September thing.

It sucks.

it seems like you either have to have free time but no money, or plenty of money but no time to spend it (aside from bills, anyway)

Its too bad you can't listen to Loverboy's "Everyone is working for the weekend" and actually nod your head and say to yourself "Yea. Thats right Loverboy. I am."

I have, actually. In fact, I got to sing along to that song at a concert two weeks ago and on Friday it played at work and I nodded and sang along

But its not really true for you anymore. You are just lying to yourself if you are enjoying the song and applying it to your current situation. You should probably shelf the Loverboy until things change.

2 jobs blows, finding one which encourages OT but doesnt force it on you is the best

Im addicted to overtime pay

addicted.

I usually work a couple 12 hour shifts during the week and then take my weekends off still
but I worked all this weekend and the holiday monday today because I felt like avoiding all of my friends

a job with this sort of freedom is awesome
