I see all of the flamage going on between the board members here. I see the cliques and the rival enemies and I just keep cool.

I don't question it at all and just go with the flow. I just ask myself why don't I have any enemies? Quickly I remind myself. For 6 years while I was in the military-that being an N.C.O., I had to be somebody who completely isn't me. In order to be an nco, your viewpoint of the lower enlisted has to be as looking at them as lying shitbags no matter what their military knowledge is. I mean seriously, after earning my SGT. stripes, I've realised that my role in the military was to be a private or E-4 and to just do my job and not have to use my stature against anybody. There were 2 huge things that happened during my military career which made me decide not to reenlist. One of them being that my end of contract was in 02 and after serving a year under Bush, I've decided that I couldn't wear a uniform for him but, the main reason why was because I had to be this mean sonofabitch that I really aint.

After getting out of the army, I worked corrections and again I had to view people as being shitbags. Believe me, in prison, all of the inmates aren't so. There's a strong bunch that are but, there's also a strong bunch that have realised that they've fucked up and they're trying to change things.

I dunno, my point being, I've actually had to live the life of hating people that I don't know and it's a very shallow and empty world. It's a hatefull world. I can only imagine that the people who come here have such a great life and actually are great people in person. I come here to escape the world I used to live and I see all of the flamage and e-hatred going on and I have flashbacks about how I used to be.

So, people who have enemies here. Why log on? Is your life that bad that winning an e-fight gives you a sense of pride or something? Just give me a little input because I read all of your posts and I can't even bring myself to make a comment of resentment. I come here to pass time by and have peacefull convo and not to hate people because of their different point of view.

hey, wait a min. You've got samples that you recorded. I've got a question, I want to share some of my guitar riffs on here but no recording equip besides my camera that has video recording capabilities.

Is there any other way to record my riffs and post them here or, can you recommend some recording equipment?

there are a few ways i can think of. that is too either pay for or download protoolsME which is a pc version of protools, thenbuy a pc accesible microphone. google them you'll find them.

the other way is to buy a line6 guitar pod, which is a guitar Fx processor, like a pedal but you put it on a stand and operateit with your hands. that can connect to your computer via usb and you can plug your computer into it. it comes with drivers which you can install and from there set it upto record through wavelab (there are instructions on how to do this on the line6 site), which you can also download/buy and it's cheaper/smaller.

there are other ways to do it but those are the ones i prefer. you can always just use a pc microphone. they're cheap but you sacrifice quality. im sure you'll be able to make out what you're playing though.

I don't get that mickill majorly insults people or gets into endless pointless arguments and paints himself into the "I have to be right and you're all a bunch of idiots" corner. As a current NCO in the military I couldn’t disagree with you more. The NCO’s job and duty is to serve as a leader, and a mentor to the lower enlisted ranks. Your job is to teach and help them to develop as military members. Everyone has their own leadership style but there is no way you have to view others as “lying shitbags”. I am not a hard ass by any stretch and my troops all know where the line is. We get the job done without a whole lot of yelling and screaming as well. I am a very laid back guy but I won’t hesitate to rip someone’s ass either and they know that. The point is I have earned their respect not demanded it by degrading them and treating them as beneath me. Anyway I know this isn’t really what your thread is about but I wanted to offer another perspective on some of your comments.

They are the backbone of the army and when any formation suffers a high rate of loss in its contingent of NCOs defeat seems to be an almost invariable result. Yeah, I rarely post up here. I'd rather debate ideas than personalities because I don't really have much to bring to the latter table. But I do waste a fair amount of time reading Beastie-Free because I often find internet feuding rather amusing, as I have remarked before.
