Dear Diary, November 19th, 1993

Hi, I'm watching MTV. Meatloaf's on singing "I would do anything for love". Well I still like Paul a lot. He's going out with Janine. She can kiss my ass! He doesn't like me I know, but he will be mine before I graduate, oh yes, he will be mine. That's right, I'm in high school now. Guess what I did it was so funny. In art we were out in the cafeteria and my friend Jessica was trying to light rubber cement on fire. She did it the first time but the second time she couldn't light it. I said "light this crumpled up piece to get a flame." I lit it with her lighter and put it on the floor. The whole thing was flaming so I tried to stamp it out with my converse. I wouldn't go out and it almost caught my pants on fire! I know its stupid but we were laughing forever. My shoe smelt like burnt rubber the whole day. It was so funny but I know it was dangerous.

I'm friends with a lot of sophomores lately. The people in art are Mary, Andrea, Shannon (she's annoying but she hangs out with us), and Jessica. Jessica's the only freshman girl besides me. Now Jessica's unusual, she's had a weird life and she's kind of a burn out. In 8th grade at Riley she was a heroin addict along with many other things. She's also a white supremecist, and she doesn't hate black people, but she doesn't think they are equal to whites and they shouldn't mix. I'm a little leary of her, I don't want to be her good friend because of that. She has a right to her opinion, but I totally disagree with her, she and her dad are involved in the KKK. They scare me to death. Well, I know I shouldn't hang out with all these bad influences, but I've got really nice friends too. Jessica's really nice and fun to talk to besides her beliefs. It's kind of fun to be bad, as long as your don't take it too far.

P.S. I was on the basketball team.

LOL@14 year old me.

Janine got into horrible car accident that made her face half-paralyzed senior year. She still got voted prom queen though! good for her!

Dear Diary, alot happened today. Andrew said he liked Heather and he wanted to go to the dance with her she said no he was sad that he wasn't going with anyone because only him, Jason, and Alexis were the only people who were not going with someone and Jason and Alexis were the two people most unlikely to be asked so Andrew was worried about his ego. When I was going to get dressed for P.E. He asked me if i wanted to go to the dance with him and he smiled when he said it, I said "fine" in a really flat voice.

AHH HA HAAA. 10 year old me is even funnier.

I've got a good one that i just found the other day. Let me go grab it.

2-20-01

(bla bla bl, I'm writing this while on the plane to Hawaii)

Anyway, something funny happened a few nights ago. I was talking online with Paul* and he started out with the..."I have to tell you something" so I egged him on and finally he basically told me that he thinks Gabriel* is attractive and he's the only guy at this point who Paul would every try anything with. This isn't entirely surprising since Paul's told me before that he wouldn't mind experimenting with a guy, and obviously I can understand being attracted to Gabriel. So now my best guy friend and I are comparing notes on my boyfriend! Pretty weird stuff!

*Names have soooooo been changed. The real Gabriel's name is like as Jewy as a name can be.

oh man these are great. ooh oooh i wanna add mine :o

11/1 (i'm guessing 2001 - meaning i was 16)

HOLY CHINGAS! Well! today David huged me tight before second period. Hung all over me at lunch. I told him, "gimme some sugar" before 6th to see what he would do - he took out his sucker and smooched my cheek. And on the way to 8th, same thing. So I left 8th and was leaning against the column and he came up and held me close...and when he had to leave he asked me for some sugar.
So I kissed his cheek.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I SUPPPOSED TO DO??
DAMN him for being so cute! This is madness.
I don't want to hurt him! But this is probably what Jay felt. (Except w/out a penis.) I hardly know...okay, I DON'T know this guy, but he seems to really like me. Hmm.

11/2
MY GOODNESS! He smooched me before second and had me smooch him after lunch, and after school he asked what I was doing tonight...told him karate...asked for my number...turned my face to his and KISSED ME...WHOA...and he called me tonight and we talked for quite a while. Interesting. This could be pretty good. But I'll be completely honest with him.
As for Jay...hmmm. [lyrics to natalie imbruglia - "torn" follow]

oh god.

p.s. sarky, what's great is i used to play with rubber cement all the time (gluing shit to other shit for no reason) and my name's jessica too! OMG!

hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
i know. oh god.

then three days later (three!!) the guy told me we were moving too fast and should slow down. i think we hooked up again a week or so after that, and the same thing ensued...then we had some big fight over him hanging all over my best friend in front of me...and she and i worked it out, and i think i called him an asshole, and then we didn't speak for a long time. we're friends now though.

1/21 (actually, i think that last one was from 2000, and this one was 2001. still 16 here.)

The show kicked ass!! When I was onstage taking pictures, Rob brought me out and asked the crowd if anyone would take me to winter formal. (Nobody asked me later...what a loser I am! :() And then there was an incredibly hot guy talking to me by the merch table...I put Xs on his back and front in white tape. He was very, very interesting. But after Formula [friend Rob's band] played, he was gone! BALLS! And there was a very cute boy selling the Nothing 2 Prove merch but everybody was on his ass so I didn't do anything. Oh yeah, and I talked to the hot guy at CSz. But I didn't ask for his number or chase him. I just do it for fun. I did want that Glasshoue guy's number, though, because he was interesting, and he talked to me. But otherwise...why bother? I don't need it.

haha, i remember that show. so embarassing. i used to take photos for my friend's band, and he knew that i didn't have a date to winter formal yet and everyone else was going...so between songs, he brings me up on the stage, next to the mic, and goes, HEY, DOES ANYBODY WANT TO TAKE THIS GIRL...and there were some guys shouting and wooing from the crowd. i don't remember if i ever got a date. :(

oh sweet jesus. i just found a poem that a guy had written for me when we were in 8TH GRADE. we dated for like two weeks then again that summer...and then we were really close friends all through high school. we're still buds. this is killer.

we met at a birthday party one night
I thought perhaps you were Mrs. Right
I thought to myself would she put up a fight?
but when we walked in the rain and I held you tight.
I knew everything was gonna be alright.
You liked ska, and Monty python too!
What was I supposed to do?!
A beautiful, Sweet thing that you are
pulled me right In, I couldnt get far
That night we held eachother and made out
Then I was planning the next day to ask you out
But I waited a day for fear I would strike out
But then you went and asked me out!!HOLY CRAP

actually, it's the same guy that brought me onstage in that ^ entry. we were friends by then, though.

Dear Diary,

St. Urho's Day! woo hoo! Woah, what a loser I am. Well, I'm a junior now, and I still like Jay and I will always love Paul because he's just a hottie. I like a senior named Chris M. too, but I don't know him, he's just a hottie on the hockey team who went to presidential with Beth S. (obnoxious bitch). My life sucks. Everytime I see Jay I want to cry, he never talks to me anymore, although he bumped me in the arm the other day and said, "hey shroom". He's going out with Lindsay (bitch). He went to homecoming with her because Regina turned him down. That was weird, I had a chance to go with him, and then I would probably be going out with him, but that didn't happen. Well, I'm going to try to hook up with this one C.C. [catholic central high school] guy I met at Solo and Ensemble but the key word is "try". Nicole's gonna help me. I have AOL now and I write letters to Simon Rex! He wrote me back twice! cool! By the way future Kelly, he was an MTV veejay. Melissa had a baby! She totally screwed up her life, I knew something bad was going to happen to her. She was in a gang too. Well, I'm not really friends with Margaret and Lisa anymore, I never really was, but they don't think I'm a dork or anything I just don't talk to them. This is dumb, I'm outta here. Wait, there's this kid named Brian in my 6th hour and he's soooo funny. I feel a strange attraction towards him, he looks like Bob Saget, weird. Probly 'cause he's so funny.

fuck, I totally remember writing that. INTERNET! I suppose I'll still never know if it really was simon rex I was writing to. :(
