Considering that the man must promote his album I would speculate that this "hustlin' time" has been reduced dramatically. After factoring in touring, radio gigs, proper hygiene, eating, whippin' it real hard, and other random events such a stopping for red lights, I would assume that he does not hustle everyday. But... BUT he was perhaps hustlin' ev'ryday at the time he was talking about hustlin' ev'ryday.

I bet theres something in his contract with Def Jam that states if he doesnt hustle every day then he has to forefit all the profits from his album.

I hate that gotdamned song!! And the video!! Me and a friend talk shit about it all the time. He claims he's hustlin' bigtime and in the video all it looks like he's getting from people is a few singles here and a few singles there.

He claims he knows Noriega and Noriega owes him 'a hundred favors'. I dunno, but I kinda have a hard time believing that, with all the power and juice and connections Noriega had as president of Panama, that scrubby ass Richard Ross from Miami, Florida is the guy he would turn to when his back is against the wall. :rolleyes:

He actually addressed the "controversy" over that line in an interview once. I believe he said something to the effect of "Well, not really a hundred favors" and something about how he knows people that know Noriega or whatever. Not really HIM him, but his friends.

Eh, I like the song. The first remix with Busta Rhymes was far less believable, though.
