can anyone point me to a website where i can download divx without it completely raping my system with a virus, like it did the last time i tried to install it?

serch for the k-lite mega pack

it has every codec you could possible need

I've had the most success with ffdshow, but if it still doesn't work with that get the "combined community codec pack" which has a few extra filters you may need (it comes with ffdshow). actually just the pack straight up.
