For me it was george Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic a few weeks back. Awesome. Oh and Dawn Penn last weekend in my local park - which was quite a treat.

and I just came home from Where the Action Is (the Hellacopters, the Hives, Backyard Babies and Millencollin. I missed Asta Kask, cause I couldn't get my ass out of here and there was a huge queue to get bracelets) and afterparty with the Doits and Captain Murphy.... Phhhew!!!

I want to say it was about a week ago that I saw Cut Chemist and DJ Swamp right here in good ol' Grand Rapids, MI. Usually we don't get that many cool acts, especially of the hip-hop variety, so I was pretty pumped for that show.

I guess Atmosphere is coming here sometime soon too. I'm not really into most of that stuff, but I might go to the concert just to scope it out and see if I can meet any more hip-hop heads 'round the area. Who knows, maybe they'll have a dope opening act... here's to hoping, at least.

The Presidents Of The United States Of America, Everclear, and a bunch of other shitty local bands.

PUSA was great, I'm now a fan.

Everclear was great as usual, second time I saw them. I got to meet and chat with the lead singer for a bit, and got an autograph.

That would have to be the Elliott Brood/Wilco concert I went to with Brett about a month and a half ago. I'd never heard either of them before, but I really like them both now. :)

i saw the editors a couple of weeks ago.
never heard of them.
it was like dave gahan with a different backing band...at least that is what the sounded like. it was kind of boring. so i got drunk.
i am thinking about seeing dr. octagon next week. but im worried that it will be all new songs..and i just can't get into the new album.

A gig, in band terminology means a paying job. Unless you have played an instrument and got payed for it, you have never been to a "gig".

The last show I saw was Meat Beat Manifesto in Orlando.
The last gig I went to was at the Masquerade in Ybor city (Tampa).
