I hope this doesn't get deleted. I just wanna say that looking at Awesome, it's easy to forget how much pain NYC went through on 9/11, especially since we all got to witness it happening.

To me, the movie shows a rebuilt New York able to stand together and love life. It's almost like the B-Boys are treating it as community work (in a good way), and doing their part to heal the people.

The idea that we saw a city engulfed in tragedy and captured forever on film is what makes AIFST so poignant to me. To see something this positive and passionate, done with so much love and goodwill, also captured forever on film is such an amazing time-capsule of a healing city. A counter-balance.

I think AIFST is some real time capsule shit. Good memories and everything.

I want to watch it when I'm old and 30, and have wistful thoughts.

Old and 30?

Kid, have I got some news for you. 30 is not old at all. All you young whipper snappers will come to realize what old is one day.

The intro almost brought me to tears... The fly over of NY made me remember that horrible day..... I live in viewing distance of the Pentagon, and could see the smoke, wich I still invision today while driving by...... I may not be from NY, but still know how it felt to watch the horror.....

Thanx to the Boys for doing a song like "Open Letter"......
