How does that even work?

It's not like babies are being lazy and not going on the treadmill, they have no control over what they eat, and it's not like adults are feeding them McDonald's now instead of formula.

seriously. i only sort of skimmed the article (which is bad, since i'm the one that posted it, but there you go), i didn't really see an explanation.

maybe it's genetic? i really don't get it.

how do you know if a baby is obese anyway? they all look pretty chubby to me.

one drastic thing i've noticed about kids since i was a kid is that they are never outside playing. when i was a kid we still had all the shit the kids have now that would keep them in the house(video games, tv...) but we still spent most of our time outside playing all sorts of games and being kids.

another thing that pisses me off is seeing a ten year old boy wearing a button up shirt with gel in his hair. what the fuck kid. put on a transformer tee and rub some dirt in your hair and go hit some icky girls with sticks

if it's to do with genes then why is it that this epidemic is only happening in America? (which happens to be the fattest nation on the planet)

why do people in third world countries not suffer from a 'fat' gene?

my mother's scientific dietician term for overweight people is "fatty fatty boombahs" and she actually uses it in front of people. she said it the other day in the hospital to a bunch of people. she is trying her hardest to embarrass me.
