I dont know, they (aka Yauch) has to remember at least one of us. If you post enough and you've been around for a couple years I dont see why not. I mean, I was here when I was 12, and when I came back I still remembered some people, i dont know why, but some people just stuck in my head. And he reads the boards somewhat.. if there was an official conference/convention/meeting-type-thing, you know, like star trek fans have organised by the official star trek fan club etc, i would so go. because it would be official. and official things make people want to come. right?

i wasn't really thinking about an event with the beastie boys in attendance. in fact, that would be sorta embarassing. i hate having to see artists interact with their fans when they really don't want to be there and think they are sorta lame (not that, of course, i think they would do or think these things! just seeing justin timberlake say a soul-less hi to the nth crazy fan who won a competition to see him backstage sorta sucks the enthusiasm from you. i saw this on tv, btw. i wasn't the fan! promise)

i think it's cool for communities of people to get together and nerd-out. fans, experts, hangers-on. s'all good.
