Post your favourites! Link to some of their music or their myspace page if you like. I am trying to get into this genre more so anything new would be appreciated. Anything vaguely daft punkish, nothing to heavy, no trance or anything.
My Australian favourites right now in order are:
1. Cut Copy (http://www.myspace.com/cutcopy) (even though they havent released anything new for 2 years besides remixes of other peoples shit)
2. Presets (http://www.myspace.com/thepresets)
3. Midnight Juggernauts (http://www.myspace.com/midnightjuggernauts): check out shadows, and also another track thats not there called tombstone is fantastic.
4. Van She (http://www.myspace.com/vanshe)
5. Dance with voices (http://www.myspace.com/dancewithvoices)
6. Scientists of Modern Music (http://www.myspace.com/thescientistsofmodernmusic) - Check out Technology Illiterate

I bought the Hot Chip album and that's pretty good - it's called The Warning. Otherwise you might like cansei de ser sexy (CSS) (http://www.canseidesersexy.com/) who are brazilian.

Yeah Digitalism and LCD soundsystem are two of my non-aussie favourites. Mr Oizo has a few good tracks that i know, especially flat beat, that has a cool video clip.

Seriously check out midnight juggernauts "shadows", and "tombstone" too if you can find it on limewire.

Andy: What Cut Copy tune is it on your MySpace? I've heard some but that one in particular is the dog's genitalia.

That cut copy song on my myspace is Saturdays. Its probably their second best song after saturdays. It was a fairly big club hit about a year ago. Seriously though, check out the midnight juggernauts "tombstone": pure daft punkish brilliance, I have played it on itunes 40 times since i got the ep a week ago.

junior boys (http://www.myspace.com/juniorboys). their first album is tremendous.
the russian futurists (http://www.myspace.com/therussianfuturists). saw these guys supporting caribou. pretty nice.
cansei de ser sexy (http://www.myspace.com/canseidesersexy). the singer lady is pretty and their single, let's make love and listen to death from above, is a mighty catchy affair.

lately when I'm into a electronic music mood, I like to listen to MSTRKRFT and Booka Shade.

I am definitely into some mstrkrft. They are especially awesome at remixes. To be honest with you though, I wish DFA 1979 stayed together, even if that meant no mstrkrft.
