View Full Version : Are the B Boys on Chappelle's "Lost Episodes" DVD??

Hey guys,
I know the Beasties were origionally suppost to be on The Chappelle Show, but then the sh ow got cancelled, or whatever the fuck happened.

So now on comedy central, they are now airing "The Lost Episodes" well I was at Best Buy, the other day and saw that Dave Chappelle's "Lost Episodes" were on DVD. and on the back it said, outtakes, musical performances, etc.

So I was just wondering if anybody has this DVD, and if anybody knows if the Beastie's are on this DVD or not? because I dont want to waste my $$$ on the DVD. But if the Boys are on it, then I'm deinitely going to buy it. so hopefully somebody knows.

Rounding out the extras is a pair of Musical Performances (featuring Dead Prez and John Legend)

somebody here said they had bought the dvd and in fact, the beasties were not on it, from what i recall :/

so the topic sort of died away i guess....

i have no idea about what happened with the performance, or why it wasn't on
the dvd like everyone had thought.

it's mind boggling, i know! so if anyone knew ANYTHING about it, that'd be appreciated.....and what did they perform anyway? so many questions... :confused:

the advertising for this is bananas in ny. ive even seen regular b/w photocopied flyers (amateur looking) stapled to light posts.

I got the DVD a while back, and they are indeed not on it unfortunately. But during one of the extra features, Charlie Murphy, Dawnell Rollins, and Neal Brennan are sifting through the skits on a computer, and you can plainly see "Beastie Boys Performances". So they did perform, but why on earth they decided to put the shitty performances on the DVD they did (except for Dead Prez) and not the Beasties, I dunno...
