can't buy hip-hop

damn, man, the last rap album i bought was like No Said Date or something. there's so much filler in hip-hop now. not more than ever, it just isn't off-set by the same quality. i never wanted to be one of those cats stuck in the past, or my era of preference, but i can't find any good ALBUMS released lately.

anybody experiencing this? got any recommendations?

I felt the same way 'til I got into MF DOOM about 10 months ago. Madvillain 2 should be coming out soon. Heard a track the other day.

MF Doom is the way to go, I got the DangerDoom album when it first came out, I'm definitely going to be checking up on his new stuff. (y)

i got pharrell's album simply cuz i wanted to own an album from this era:p but its decent he shud stick to beats than raps


Rakim's solo album is coming sumtime later this year though, that might be good
