I am watching the USA team wipe the floor with Korea's team. It is like watching a dunk contest. I don't think Korea has a very good team.
D Wade and Lebron are fun to watch.

I think his performance in the last olympics sealed his fate. I am a big fan of his from his High School days. I watched him play football and bball for Bethel in Va Beach. He just can't jibe with a tight team concept. It is a shame.

I think that is a decision by the Brits. Right? I remember when the olympic committee opened the fload gates of international play to professionals.

They are diving and hustling.
Watch Sportscenter tonight. Here is the play of the day.........

It went something like..............
Fastbreak.....Heinrich loose ball--bang--quick touch pass to Brand--bang--touch pass into the lane to a driving D Wade--bang--underhand alley-oop to Lebron--bang--SLAM.

Iverson WAS the Olympic team last time out.

Well, last time I checked he had teammates. Maybe a pass or 2 could have helped get a bronze medal.

Ive heard it time and time again. Iverson doesn't pass the ball. I'm not buying it anymore. Last year he actually played the Point, he avaeraged a very respectable 7.4 assists a game with Chris Webber as his next best scoring option besides himself.

If you watch the All-star games, he is an awesome point guard when he has other talented players.

Also remember Larry Brown was the coach of the last USA team, the guy who turned Iverson into the shooting guard, one man team he was in Philly.

I think Iverson above all, wants to win championships and will do whatever is asked of him to do it. Coach K would have been good for him.

Thank you.

Hey now, I am just stating what the predominant feeling about Iverson is in the coaching community. I would love to see him running the floor breaking people's legs with his crossover.

I actually saw Vlade Divac's legs break apart from his body one time.

remember that crossover he did on MJ in his rookie year, LEGENDARY!
Yep----
I still remember visiting LaLaLand in the 90s. Iverson was a rookie with Philly. The Lakers were hosting a preseason tourney. The Forum was quiet and there was not much enthusiasm. Iverson made a crossover that broke Van Exels legs--he fell to the floor. The entire crowd let out a collective sigh---AHHHHHHHHHHH!
His coach Johnny Davis pulled him for shooting too much late in the 1st quarter. He didn't play him the rest of the game. That year Davis and Iverson were at odds. Davis was fired and Iverson stayed.
