So, I'm going on vacation with plans to swing by my ex-wife's house to pick up my daughter and then fly to my mom's house. Well, I just got an e-mail from my ex telling me that Zoya (my daughter) can't make it now because she starts school this Thursday and if she goes with me then she'll loose her spot for school. I've got her and my tickets already and I'm freakin' heartbroken. The only thing I can do now is follow my tickets as planned and visit her only for one night and then fly to my mom's house.

Last year something very similar happened. I had our tickets ready, flew to my mom's house and was getting ready to fly to pick up my daughter but, hurricane Rita hit my daughter's hometown so, it cancelled all of that.

I completely understand her position in school but, it just seems there's always a roadblock in my way when it comes time for me to see my baby.

I think next time I should just go unnoticed. A suprise attack. It seems like whenever I plan ahead, this crap happens:mad:

We all knew about it. I can only take vacations during certain times of the year. The times happen to be during school time and there's nothing I can do about it. Senority personal has their priorities over me and they take their vacations during the summer and during holidays.

I'm sure your keen on seeing your mom as well, but why not spend more of your vacation where your daughter is, since she can't come with you?

^ for real...the airline might charge like $100 to change your flights up a bit. Small price to pay to see you baby

I was gonna start a brand new thread about paris hilton's new album, but I think the name of this thread says it all!

anyways..

Maybe you could do one of those "daddy at school" days...That would be cool.

When I get to her city I'm going to see what I can do. I can probably only spend a day with her or two days max. I've got a crap load of buisiness to take care of as well, one of them being an exam for a new job. I think I should just call off the exam and reschedule.

I wish I had a baby.

All this talk about kids lately and all these pregnant celebrities is making me :( .

I guess I need to trade in my '92 Scirroco for a nice '06 Camry.

I had just the one baby and at various other times in my life, the urge hit me to have another one and then I'd see and have an opportunity to hold someone else's newborn and I'd resist because I'd hear my one friend's voice in my head when she told me not to smell or hold babies because that'll just make me want more. New baby smell.
