I took some vinyl up to a mates party friday night and insisted he dropped Rock Hard, he did, and it went down a storm! No one would believe it was beastie boys cos they're all into that gangsta rap shit. They certainly had an educated night after listening to some proper hip-hop from the roots, J5, De La and Tribe etc

Some of that stuff is hard to find though, especially in NM condition. Rock Hard is rare enough but one in great condition is even more rare. I have one and was trying to get a duplicate copy to keep and I saw one on Ebay, it went up to $30 and still didn't meet the reserve price, I just said forget it since I already had one.

How much did he want for something he only had to pay around 7 dollars for anyway? :D

I like all the pre-LTI stuff I've heard. "Rock Hard", "She's On It", "Beastie Groove", "Cooky Puss", "Egg Raid On Mojo", "Beastie Boys".

The funny thing is, that even though those songs were made like 2-3 years before Licensed To Ill, the Beasties all sound like they were 12-years-old when they made those tracks!

I've heard 'Beastie boys' and didn think that much of it sorry to say! i love 'shes on it' when adrock goes her bedroom eyes, they start to twitch! I like the way 'egg raid on mojo' evolved to 'Egg man' (listen carefully)
