So, yesterday i saw a documentary on Shakur, my first introduction to him.
I must say i like the dude vibe and some of his tunes are goods.
They talked in the show about the rival gang eastcoast/west coast and that it maybe the reason of his death as we all i'v heard: six month later biggie is shot too and the same kinda circumstances.

What you think about that, is it really a gang murder related?
SInce then, no clue or suspect have been found, why?

PLus, this morning, i google him for the hell of it and a bunch of sites appear about how Shakur fake his own death.....That he release albums under Makaveli name and so on. MAchiavelli who is a italien political philosopher who believe in one faking is own death to fooled the ennemi...

Anyway, what are you thoughs on the issue?

Sorr it's just that this is really really old news....last I heard Tupac was supposed to make his return a few months ago on the 10 yr mark of his "death" but that didn't happen so I assume he's really dead. Although he's put out like 10 albums since he died...

New technology allows artists to go into the studio and record (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2005-14,RNWE:en&defl=en&q=define:TO+RECORD&sa=X&oi=glossary_definition&ct=title) music. Then, even at much later dates, the material is released to the public. In this case, 2Pac's work was released, not directly by him, but by company executives who were in possession of and had rights to the recordings.

Hope this helps!!!

God speed.

I have been somewhat interested in the Ramparts scandal involving the Los Angeles Police Department. There was an old episode of Frontline called LAPD Blues and there was a book called LAbyrinth as well as some crappy documentaries. There have been recent magazine articles because Biggie's family has been suing the LAPD and his family found new evidence that the police department appears to have been hiding. Because of this lawsuit, we're going to find out more about the corruption within the LAPD.

It's all tied up in a couple of LAPD officers who were cops and gang members at the same time. There was a small group of bad guys who had their hands in everything. They also happened to lie under oath to get convictions against innocent people charged with crimes. Because of that, because there wasn't a proper investigation re Tupac or Biggie from the beginning, and because even the friends of Biggie and Tupac have things to hide, it is highly unlikely that we'll ever know the truth. The Frontline show made it sound like one of the guys involved in Tupac's shooting was on the of cop/gang members. It can't be proven with enough certainty to get a conviction though.
