Yeah, this always bothers me with the BTTF trilogy. I mean, wouldn't George and Lorraine recognise the dude that got them together in the first place? Marty was instrumental in the plan for George to pick-up Lorraine at the dance, and Lorraine fell in love with Marty, surely they'd remember that, for christs sake. And what about Strickland? That dude has a memory like a steel fucking trap.

Clearly Marty wasn't born 9 months after the ball. So it couldnt have been "Calvin Klein", because he disappeared after that. But yes, interesting point.
