Any word on guest artists for the new album?
Some people the Beasties should (realistically) collab with for their next CD:
DJ Premier/Gang Starr
ATCQ
Mos Def
Talib Kweli
Common
Jay-Z (OK not so likely)
Rev Run/DMC
Snoop Dogg (he did a song with JT so why not?)

Realistically, I don't think we'll see any collabs. But if we do, it'll most likely be limited to one, and it'll probably be along the lines of Rev Run, Talib, Mos, Tribe, or Common.

Oh my GOD could you please pull more doo doo out of your ass....are you freaking serious or just an idiot. Why would you even want to hear "collab's" with half of that list let alone hear anyone on that list period!!! I'm sorry Talib ehhh and was ok live, Common ehhhh, Mos Def probably the best on there, Run yeah in 1989, Jay Z no freakin way and Snoopy Poopy well that's just plain irritating to me and demonstrates how stupid people are that just plain lack any real sense of the history of hip hop or the Beastie's place in it.
Personally I don't want to see any collab's or guest rappers on any full length LP, just the Beastie's as it has always been with the exception of Q-Tip. But.....I would love to here more B-Sides with guys who obviously hail from the school of Beasties and just have nothing but respect and love for them and their era of hip hop. Here's my short list, afterwhich go to emusic and just have at it then you will get why snoopy belongs no where in the same breath as these guys:
Aesop Rock -You will never ever be able to sing along.
Slug (Atmosphere, Felt) -Check out Felt's "Early Mornin' Tony", Slug works It's the New Style into the song.
Edan -Beauty and the Beat so amazing
Cannibal Ox -The Cold Vein is the Paul's Boutique of this decade.

Felt is O.K, but I paid like 2 dollars for the C.D. Aesop Rock is painfully bad, Edan plain sucks and the rest of that shit isn't even worth dissing.
P.S Nerdy Underground does not equal love for the Beasties. Jay Z, Premier, Talib, Mos, TRibe, they all have love for the Beastie Boys.

I would like: Rakim, Prime Minister Pete Nice & MC Serch, (of 3rd Bass) Percee P, (yes, this isn't likely) Reverend Run & DMC, (of Run DMC) Lord Finesse, Butterfly & Doodlebug & Ladybug Mecca, (of Digable Planets) and Kool Keith & Ced Gee. (of Ultramagnetic MCs)

If they do...hopefully its with someone in their past just for the fun of it.
They dont need any collaborations to "sell" albums!
a recycled biggie verse would be DOPE! right?

They were supposed to do a song on Weekend Warrior. Maybe they'd re-do that.

I think the only time id like to see a collaboration is if it were artist the beasties were bringing to mainstream themselves.
Hopefully they'll have a label after they retire, so we can have some ill music.

EG - Timbaland. That would be cool.

I doubt they'll colab with anyone except maybe Money Mark, Mix Master Mike, etc. basically people already in the band. I think they're way to unique and good to have anyone else on with them. Maybe when they're 90, I'll want them to colaborate with some people, but personally they better not ever. :(

Ehhh tough guy, want to check out some snoop dogg and down some gin n' juice while we bend some bitches over pull our gats out and wave em in da air and hell while there their why don't we just shoot some M.F.'s and throw down our blue doo rags to let em know we crip 4-life because that's how I roll deep, mobb deep turtle like the pimp bitch slap fool I am.

Why?? Then it would sound like everything else that is coming out right now.... Not a diss, it just seems Timbaland is a little mass produced at the moment..... It would be the same as if they did a track with the likes of Pharrell.....

Money Mark, Mix Master Mike, etc. basically people already in the band. ...um...Mix Master Mike is pratically a intergreated and important member of the band; I mean, he did Hello Nasty (I think) and TT5B and you don't think he'll be invovled in the next album? Also for Mark, he is part of the band but the sound they were looking for in TT5B just didn't fit but I think he'll get his KBing skillz working again in the near future. And I don't call it colabing when their part of the band. =/

A collab with them would be amazing, I'd think so anyway. If you've heard Liam Howletts remix of Release Yo Delf or Poison then you'll know what I mean. The guiy knows proper B-Boy style hip hop.

If your nads were indeed larger than my head then you my friend would have a serious problem in your pants. Although I hear incest and seperation from the nest make the heart grow fonder so you are an ideal canidate for swollen ball removal procedure. Does your Mom know?
I see you've got yourself a nice little post going over there, making friends with the fanboys is always a pleasure but be careful. Judging by the simplicity of your thoughts I would guess that you are quite young, quite immature and rather stupid. I'm guessing that 3/4 of the people in here could squash you like the little bug that are but since most of us do not advocate violence then please for the sake of your future children, fix that problem with your sack. In addition paddy life is more than just bitches and money so grow up.
PS - I know your real name, where you live and how to reach you.....litterally reach. For kicks I might just put it on the fanboy post since you've managed to be a bigger jackass over there than to me.

Stop trying to be witty and confrontational, KP. Dream-teams have nothing to do with fanboyism.
Like if you make a fantasy football team it doesn't mean you're a fanboy for everyone on the team.
Anyway, the word "fanboy" is getting overused, let's just leave it to the one thread.

fukk these collabs. beastie boys should jsut take those five boroughs beats further down electric avenue. make some real space-age shit and rhyme over that. the less they try to 'do' 'hip-hop' at this age, the better. theyd probably 'do' more 'hip-hop' shit by mistake.

Yauch just called me up and told me they're releasing a new CD next month. It's going to comprise purely of old unused 2Pac verses with sub-par production and hastily thrown together Beastie Boy verses that don't fit the tempo properly.

i predict that if there are collabs, and if there is rap to collaborate on, then it might have been made easier at the hhh, and that possibly whomever they might collaborate with was there.
or i could be wrong
