I pretty much always ask for books and music - dull, but at least I'll get what I actually want.

Did you actually say "i dno", or did you say "I don't know." Please, please tell me.

I love makin' presents 'cause I like to surprise ppl... Anyway... I decided that by this moment (even if my birthday is gone on 21st may) in every recurrence where presents are "scheduled", I don't want any present but money, like a tribute to help me to reach New York as soon as possible, and stay there for 15 days. I'm even tryin' to spend not much money of my salary to put it apart for my travel...

Most of the things I need, I can buy for myself when I need them; what I want that I can't buy, no one else can buy for me either. That leaves stuff for people to buy--things that they think I'll like or need that I usually don't like or need and that just make clutter. I never know what to do with those things.

I don't think people necessarily need to celebrate occasions by giving gifts. And most everyone defines gift as something tangible, but the best gifts for me to get are to have an opportunity to just spend time with people. Otherwise, because of what I said above, I tend to dislike getting gifts; I enjoy giving them when I know that the other person likes to receive them.

Well, let's see. For my next birthday, the baby will be 11 months old by then, so she'll be weaned and can go have an overnight with a sitter. So, I reckon what I will be wanting is maybe a day at a spa with some girlfriends getting my back rubbed and toes polished and suchlike, and then I think I'd like to go out and get a bit drunk - not staggeringly drunk, just woohoo drunk. Then I would like to come home and drag my husband off to bed for some uninterrupted nookie, and then sleep in in the morning, and then have more nookie. And then go out to brunch, and then go pick up the baby. Yes, I think this sounds like a plan.
