I snapped them on the side too so I can't get the nerd tape out and nerd them as good as new. this sucks. I can barely see. still, gives me an excuse to get my $1000 resource loan for uni and blow it on a phresh pair.

my manfriend rotates between glasses and contacts. mainly glasses though, because he's way too lazy to concentrate enough for the contacts. i have strips of left and right eye contacts with things like "-5.75" stamped on the side left in almost every corner of the room when he stays, like oversized packets of pills.
(i think -5.75 is his left eye or something. i'm guessing it means he has really bad eyesight! his right one is 6. ...something. i don't understand optical lingo!)

I alternate between the two. So, when I feel like listening to the Swans and crying while knitting a scarf, I can wear my glasses.

And when I'm at work, I usually wear contacts, because staring at a computer sucks ass with glasses.

Although my glasses are busted. They got broke en route to San Diego. It sucked. They were phresh too.

as i said, one of my boyfriend's eyes is definitely -5.75. and his other one, i'm sure, is 6 point something. and he can sure see things! with assistane from glasses/contacts, of course.
his dad's are even worse.. he may actually be registered blind if he deteriotates much more. his dad, that is.

well i heard if you're like -20 your eyes are totally fucked. my ex was -7.5 in one eye and -9 in the other. i had no idea she even wore contacts until about 2 months in! well i think -6 allows you to claim some sort of disability here. i'm not 100% sure tho, just what i've been told

I wear daily disposable contacts, and they're pretty comfortable. I only really wear my glases if I'm reading late at night, and I had a spare pair in my car until some thieving scrote stole them.
