Physically knackered

I'm on a PST (personal safety training) course this week with work, which has been good fun, and I've learned a lot of useful stuff. But I'm totally fucked, and still have two days to go. Yesterday someone nearly broke my wrist when they used the wrong technique for an arm-lock and takedown, I fell on my bent-forward wrist with my full body weight, then he fell on top of me....and then he tried to wrench my wrist even further. Today it hurts like a bastard, and I've been spraying it with freeze spray every 30 mins.

This afternoon was good fun though. You know those gel wrist rests you can get to go in front of your keyboard, well we had entire suits made from that stuff. We spent the whole afternoon basically beating the shit out of each other:cool:

I only recently found out that the word knackered comes from a term used to describe a male horse after it's been neutered.

After having their "knackers" whacked off, the horses more often than not became lethargic, resulting in the lovely farming phrase that you and I use today to mean tired.

Um nope, but I got some killer handcuffs, a telescopic baton and the knowledge of how to incapacitate or kill someone using one or a combination of 37 different pressure points (either striking them or just applying pressure).

So if someone I stop at work kicks off I can restrain them, if they kick off with a weapon the gloves are off, and I can either restrain them, restrain and take them down, take them down then restrain them, defend myself against punches, kicks and knife strikes.....or if they're really bad and it a case of me or them, I could kill them.

There are actually lots of ways, probably the most effective would be a heavy blow to the temple (a hefty kick to the head would kill 99% of recipients)
