It's staggering how many over the hill acts still tour crappy bars.

I thought about seeing Cheap Trick. I figured I'd round up some of my old friends and we would see them for a giggle. But Ticketmaster's event page says "Dont miss the Renegades Biker Babe Contest starting at 5:15pm!!" I'd never be able to lure anyone I know to the outer southern suburbs (even without the babe contest).

Who the hell is Molly Hatchet.

a Souhtern rock band formed in jacksonville, Florida in 1975 (), known primarally for their hit song "Flirtin' with Disaster" from the album of the same title. The band, founded by Dave Hlubek and Steve Holland took its name from a leggendary Southern prostatute who suposedly mutilated and decapitated her clients.(n)

The original group included vocalist Danny Joe Brown, three guitarists Dave Hlubek, Steve Holland, and Duane Roland, bassist Banner Thomas, and drummer Bruce Crump.

In 1978 the band recorded and relaesed its first album eponimously titled "Molly Hatchet". Then in 1979, "Flirtin' with Disaster" was released.

In 1980 Brown left the group to form The Danny Joe Brown Band (with future Molly Hatchet guitarist Bobby Ingram) and was replaced by vocalest Jimmy Farrar. After the release of "Beatin' the Odds" in 1980 and "Take No Prisoners" in 1981 Farrar left. :D

Brown rejoined the band in 1982 and Banner Thomas left and was replaced by Riff West. In 1983, a new album was released titled "No Guts... No Glory." Steve Holland left and was replaced by keyboardist John Galvin.

In 1984 came the release of a new album "The Deed Is Done". In 1985 Dave Hlubek left and he was replaced by Bobby Ingram. Then in 1985, the double live album "Double Trouble Live" was released.

True. Pat Benatar was recently in Maplewood. That would have been a hoot. Bands like Quiet Riot and Foghat used to hit the Medina Ballroom. My friends have all been to goofy bars in the northern metro, but I'm not going to get anyone to go to Dakota County.

When I was 7 years old Molly Hatchet played our local fair. They got stuck in the tin siding plated, non air conditioned "barn". They had their shit turned up to 11 but with the tin walls it felt like my ears were being raped at 11,000.

Something about not hearing 'Flirtin' With Disaster' to a background of exploding Nascar race cars against a steel fence just ain't as cool.

honestly, he is a total sweetheart. i spent ages looking for a working torrent and all i got were re-named backdoor trojans. i thought it was all gonna prove fruitless, but he found me a working one! we exchanged electronic fluids last night ;)

i would go google the torrent link for you, but i cannae do that at work. fuckit, let's go for it: i think this (http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/410033/) was the one i used. good luck!

i would share mine with you to be available to download, obviously, but i'm at work.

I loved sam and max so much, but never completed it. I remember my sister and I (we worked as a team, bless) got stuck on it twice when we were kids because certain objects had failed to load and made the game unwinnable (lovely, lovely glitches). T'was the same reason Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was impossible to complete on Fists mode because the worldstone was missing!

(i don't really understand bittorrent, either, dinnae worry. tal had to hold my hand through the whole experience! it's certainly a long way away from ye olde days of napster!)

from what i understand you should:
1. download bittorrent (http://www.bittorrent.com/index.html) or any other torrent, uh, thingie.
2. click on the link i provided (the torrent) and "save as" to somewhere on your 'puter.
3. press add file/location/whatever it says (i'm at work) in the bittorrent program and add the torrent you just saved in step 2.
4. wait to download! if people are, uh, available to download it from. however it works. extract the file.

don't worry, it definitely isn't a virus. and you won't get one if you just download this one. after all, i've downloaded the same thing, and so has tal and (i think) padster and freebasser by now. it's quite safe! just a bunch of game programs.

z, you should totally teach him how to do it (or better still, girl power and just do it for him!). he'll be blissing out on real life adventure games instead of making up his own!

Energy use and the demand for electricity for lighting homes is directly related to the times when people go to bed at night and rise in the morning. (lb)

In the average home, 25 percent of electricity is used for lighting and small appliances, such as TVs and stereos. A good percentage of energy consumed by lighting and appliances occurs in the evening when families are home. (lb)

By moving the clock ahead one hour, the amount of electricity consumed each day decreases. (lb)
