Im going to Juvie because of my film class

No not for real. MTV is in the process of filming a new reality tv/docudrama like they like to do, and it just so happens to be taking place in my town at the one juvinile court and rehab center thats around here. (why its being taped in middle O' nowhere Indiana, dont ask me)
So, since some of the kids (actually 2 or 3 of the kids) who are in juvie came from my school, the local police department sent my Film Lit teacher a letter saying that if we were intrested, we could come down to the courthouse for a day or two and watch the crew in the process of filming this new show.
So needless to say we are without a doubt going, we might even show up on MTV (y)

That should be interesting on a couple of different levels. My time spent in juvenile court and juvenile prisons was far more interesting than the time I spent in adult facilities.

There is a lot of juvenile crime in quiet communities. I think that the juveniles in the cities are just less likely to outgrow it, less likely to move on to meaningful jobs, and less likely to get some kind of helpful intervention before it's too late. But that's too serious a topic for the board. :p

I'll be interested to hear what you think afterwards.

hey i think i saw some preview or something about that...i'm not sure if it was for mtv or not but that just sounded familiar to me.

that's really interesting though, you're almost famous!
