I'd also like it to be known that if i ever tell any of you that i bought another american light beer ...please kill me!!

I can totally chug a draft of guinness, but there's no way i could ever chug a bottle or draft of miller lite or any of the other crap like that!

Depends what's on special.

And I hate beer snobs who alway say, "My dark beer this, my dark beer that. Light beer sucks. Blah Blah Blah."

Miller Lite isn't crap. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs and I want to be able to drink 6-8 beers without feeling like I'm going to split at the seems like I spent 3 hours at the god damn China Buffet.

Khaki wearing, button down douchebags, who go out and have 1 beer have that attitude. Them, or fat fuckers. I don't want to be in either of those demographics.

Draught, most of the time anyways.

But I don't get out much, so I usually resort to bottled beer. (Which is then expertly poured into the proper glass.)

Pshaw. I'm 5'10" 150 and I drink my beer in multiples of twelve. Miller Lite is crap, and dark beers are better, irrespective of what anyone else tries to tell you.

My vote is for draught, served cooled in a chilled glass, the darker the better.

miller lite is shit. that's not being a beer snob, it's the truth. one night we bought a dude a miller lite draft, only we dumped half of it out and replaced the other half with water. guess what? he couldn't tell.

you aren't drinking 6-8 beers, you're drinking 3-4 waters.

i prefer some beers on draft, and others, i'm fine with drinking them out of the bottle. it's situational, of course.

i don't like miller lite because it tastes like a crotch

Bob

i dunno, i don't really have a frame of reference for crotches

befsquire

that's too bad.

there's just out of the shower crotch, which is nice. there's i've been working 8 hours in the hot sun crotch, which is a tad salty. who can forget the i've already fucked you with this crotch, which tastes like yourself? and finally, there's i've showered a few hours ago crotch, which is just as nice as just out of the shower crotch.

miller lite is cheap but not good.

bottle or draft: for me it depends on what I'm drinking.

i like it from the tap when i can get it. the places i tend to go have decent selections to go from, so i usually do that.

yesterday i bought my first case of beer in cans, and only for the simple fact that it was all gone in an hour between the 4 of us.

I find that most people consider Corona to be 'piss beer' but they're drinking Buds like it's going out of style. Maybe the lime does it for me.

Depends on the beer but I like ones out of the bottle. It's such an american way of drinking. As opposed to most of europe who feel that wasting a perfectly almost clean glass is the way to go. ;)

I really despise beer if it's not free. Therefore HENNESSY wins hands down.

well, us 'europeans' (read: british) will 100% go for draught before bottle. of course! why would anyone go otherwise?

i'm starting to take a shine to the bottle way of drinking though because it's smaller, less toilet-break-inducing and less girly than ordering a half pint. but i wouldn't drink beer before cider though. nonono!

also a lot of bars do not clean their taps / keg tubes for the draft beer and you can get really sick if they dont take care of that once a month. You can taste it in the beer as well if they arent clean, so I usually go for the bottle.

I could have sworn it was spelled 'draught' too, but hey, when in Rome.

Cider is awesome. It's so much tastier, because it has that fruit after-taste, whereas a lot of beer has that wheat-taste which isn't that great. We have what's called "Woodchuck Cider" over here, it comes in Granny Apple and Pear. It's good. I really liked BC Grower's when I was in Edmonton. It was made in British Columbia, and they had peach flavored (my favorite). (y)
