textbooks cost me a shitload back in the day...and with history courses, they change every semester so i can't sell them back until a few semesters later when they decide to teach the course again (and a lot of the time, they change the books too). so right now i have 500$ worth of books at bookholders.com (they sell for more than what the bookstore buys) and bitches best be goin' there and gettin my merchandise or else i'm fux0red.

duh, of course they were cheap or I never would've taken the chance. My professor gave me a code that you use when you checkout and that took an extra 5% off. The site is www.valorebooks.com and the code is 23324394.

And the package was from Valore books. I got Chemistry and Chemical Reactivity by Kotz and Kardong's Anatomy and Physiology book. So I am happy. :D

I am so going to check out bookholders.com. Thanks for posting about it. My question is doesn't the postage that you pay to ship the book to them eat up whatever extra money you've gained?

And I know how it feels about selling books back. I remember times when I was in the community college line sweating and praying that they'd take the book back. And even when they did, they wouldn't give you that much especially if they are "overstocked". :(
