Do you have it? Can you control yourself in situations that would normally make you angry?

Most of the time I can. I got much better through the years though, but I still think I need to get better, a lot better. It's not the easiest thing to do. Let things that bother you not bother you enough that you can't control the way you talk and act.

Hard task, but I appreciate that in people. It's good to be reasonable. To really think before talk. To overcome things that you could never overcome.

i lost my cool at the jail the other night with a client. i started cursing at him. i told him to shut the fuck up and let me finish my fucking sentence and quit interrupting. when he did it again, i said "fuck this. i'm on my time and i'm not wasting anymore of it arguing with you" and i left.

btw, he's done time for attempted first degree murder and is currently in jail on no bond on a first degree murder indictment. not the kind of guy you should piss off, really.

With stuff like this, I'm a cool customer. But in some emotional situations, I'm probably about seven years old.

A mature seven, though. (y)

ya know.....i have no patience when it comes to the ones that i love the most. but when its just random people/co workers/acquaintances..i have all the patience in the world. Its kind of sad really.

im generally extremely even tempered. people i've worked with have told me many times, 'man nothing gets to you'. it takes a whole lot to piss me off. but when i lose it, i lose it.

Isn't that the way, though?

It's weird that the deeper (and more complex -- maybe that's the problem) the love is, the easier it is to mistreat someone. That seems counter-intuitive.

Oh that's true. My relationship with my mom is not very easy, although we're friends. She's the only person I can't control that much my emotions. It's really hard. I need to work on that. I know she makes it easy for me not to control myself, but it shouldn't supposed to be that way. I should be able to control myself in ANY occasion. I mean, ANY doesn't really mean ANY, like a rape or something like that, but you got the picture!

I'm sure it's because she's smart and you're dumb ^

Any emotions I appear to reveal to another person while upset or during a confrontation, whether in my voice or by the expression on my face, is purely intentional. All visible evidence of anger or sadness is deliberate and calculated; a strategy allowing me a psychological advantage of some sort. I'm always in control. I don't lose it. I use it.

i'm the same as cmute, when it comes to my wife we very rarely argue but when we do most of the time she has the upper hand, she argues me in circles, but i'm fairly laid back so it's never an issue for me i just accept it and move on.

i'm an overly laid-back kinda person
usually.

i don't usally get angry at really major things, i laugh them off, then i get all frustrated over the silly trivial things...i might have issues :S
