anyone out there own this album? i think it sounds pretty good, i like weird stuff. just check out the song "get up punk" and youll know if you like it or not. i like really dark sinister sounding beats. like d-styles Phantsmagorea.

Its more accessable, but don't let that put you off. They're are some amazing moments on it! And every song is a "song". Some great guests and you can't complain about norah jones singing "keep it in your pants motherfucker"

well i finally picked up General Patton vs The Xecutioners and it eh, just ok. technically theres like 23 tracks or something, but theres only about 4 or 5 real songs on here. i usually have a pretty open mind for experimental stuff, but even for me there was just too much random noise sometimes, i think an EP would have been much better.

and i just thought it was kinda funny that there was a track with sound effects from a record i have, its just weird hearing it somewhere else.

I bought this last year and was pretty upset. I know Mike Patton does some weird shit but I also know he can jam out. I was not expecting almost a whole album of weird shit that I have to keep fast fowarding through.

How many songs does that have, maybe 18 or so? I forgot but, I do remember that there was only about 4 songs that I can actually listen to and groove with.

I agree there's a fuckload of filler, but I still don't regret buying it, for the songs that actually do hit, hit really hard. That Roc Raida groove is monumental, in particular. Over-experimental and abstract, no doubt, but thoughtful and respectable as well.
