Every now and again, I like to put the headphones on and really listen to her voice up close. I know that she wasn't necessarily the greatest singer ever, but there's a certain quality to her voice that I can definitely appreciate. Love her.

My Godmother, who died this year, used to get drunk with my parents and they'd all sit around listening to Dusty Springfield at absurdly high volume. My Godmother made a point of singing along. Her (Dusty's) voice is excellent, and is something I've enjoyed since I could walk.(y)

Good man. You get to learn the secret handshake now.

It goes:

1. slap five
2. touch fists
3. shake dice in hand motion

Ahem. I believe she was bisexual. Which is fine by me. Because it's not like she had a mullet or a buzz cut.

i just mentioned it as i was talking about lesbian famous people with my lesbian flatmate and we were moaning the lack of female gay famous people. but she mentioned dusty. and i was all like "i'm sure she wasn't 100% for the ladies, yo" but she assured me yes. you are on my side, so that makes me right. i'll update her!
i <3 you don't have to say you love me.
