I think that a lot of what Daniel Edwards and the good folks at the Capla Kesting Gallery do is supposed to be tongue in cheek. Deriding even. Take the Britney giving birth on a bearskin rug monument, for example. The public looks at this kind of shit as further evidnce of Tom Cruise's lunacy and Britney's moronity. Which it isn't. It doesn't change the fact that Tom is a lunatic and that Britney is a moron. But people who devote so much to probing into the lives of celebrities and fuel their hatred for these idiots based on things like this aren't exactly winners themselves.
