I've been a fan of his since his Wrecks n Effects "Rump Shaker" days, and he sure has come a long way. I just got his new cd and its smokin.

i got his new CD too i like it some the beats are great but lyrics are ok. he's a great producer with a signature sound but he isn't much of a rapper. he can sing really well tho
i also like all the japanese style he's doing (kinda like gwen stefani) him & Nigo make cool looking clothes (very colorful) but they're are expensive clothes...especially Nigo's BAPE line (mike d has the famous red BAPE shark hoodie which cost a lot!)
btw you're gonna get a lot of haterz in here

He's ok. I've never really heard any of his stuff where it's just him, I like some of his Collabs and shit. Like what he did with Snoop and N.E.R.D, He's cool, but If I had to choose one of today's rappers im always gonna pick Kayne. (y)

I would have much rather gotten a new NERD record than a Pharrell solo album.
most/all of those beats need someone who can provide better vocals.

its alright that the peoples gotta bite, but I can understand cause he sounds so nice.
I've got some of them clothes. I have a black BBC shirt in the classic style, a pink camo hoodie with no logo, and a blue camo varsity jacket. I got them all off ebay, so I didn't end up paying hundreds of dollars for them.
By the way, did yall see P's new Mac commercial?

I'm more of a N*E*R*D fan than his solo stuff. But he is sexy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj8Ct70-x9E) tho! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syw_Z4wEH9M)

Cool. Here's something else: Pharrell joking around in the studio about Chad Hugo's dad.

Williams seems to be a pretty average rapper, but his production as part of the Neptunes made me take interest in pop music again.

So you were a fan when he was sitting in on a recording session and wrote a verse for a song he neither appeared on or actually produced? Wow. That must make you his first fan ever. And you were like what...10? 11? Nice.

Mr Me Too was the street single and Wamp Wamp is the official one. Both are pretty disgusting in their own right, but the beat for Mr Me Too is probably the most original one of the year.

actually the beat is VERY similar to The Pack's Vans song that came out a little earlier than mr.me too

I don't think that they're THAT similar, but sure...maybe. I'm a little biased since The Pack aren't in any way as nice lyrically as The Clipse. But maybe you're right about the beat. I don't know which came first, though. I do remember hearing Mr Me Too for the first time at least 5 months ago.

well the beginning of Vans sounds similar to mr.me.too....but when it hits the chorus it doesn't sound alike anymore
