They somewhat make me think of a cross between Springsteen and The Replacements/Paul Westerberg.

Whatever the case, they're awesome and you should take a listen!

P.S. - Speaking of indie rock bands with heavy Springsteen influences, The Hold Steady is another great band. I hope you're taking notes, jackrock.

guess who has most everything recorded by Marah.

Round Eye Blues is in my opinion one of the most beautiful songs ever, it's a tale of a soldier under fire in a firefight in Vietnam with shrapnel all around him thinking of his youth in Detroit and Motown reference's flashing through his head.

It has about every sound you can think of thrown in too.

What I describe is a fucking mess, that works perfect. (y)

I like this band a lot. They were at bonnaroo, but I didnt get to see them because I was too busy having a bad trip and thinking I was going to die.
