What kind of paint?
Generally, if you just soak yourself in the bath until a layer of skin comes off, it's OK.

get acrylic or enamel thinners from a hardware shop. and wash your hands with it.

at hardware shops they should sell an orange scrub soap that is very strong and will scrub off almost anything you might have on your hands.
