The first one would be that "Ask Frank" commercial about teen drug use. That little bastard kid with the annoying voice. Every time it's on tv it makes me want to vomit with rage !
The other one I guess is more than just one commercial. It's the ASDA ones with the little bastard kids singing different songs and clapping. Those commercials actually make me want punch folks at random.
Does anyone know the commercials (or "adverts") I'm talking about?

Yeah I'd like to stamp on that Frank kid's head.
"What's wrong with your face? LOL!"
"I'M ON PILLS YOU LITTLE CUNT NOW FUCK OFF BEFORE I EAT YOU!"

We honestly don't have TV here, too many big hill things in the way. We could get Sky, but I refuse to, so it's nothing but DVDs for us.
However, I have seen the ads in question at work, and have to say ASDA have never made a good ad. I was once held up for half an hour while they filmed one at a store in Kent.

The Frank commercials make me want to punch him in the face and then say

I hate the two Gilette ones on tv at the moment
'Pulse - everything has a pulse'
and the Fusion one. The ad looks really interesting and the voice over sounds good and then you realise its for a fecking razor.
The Talk to Frank ones are so annoying - though the girl pilled off her faces does make me laugh

Is that the one where that chode is singing "they're gonna be great"? If so, then yes... that commercial is annoying.

the frank kid is meant to be annoying. the more annoying he is, the more people will say he is annoying to their friends, and the more the whole being annoying because he's talking about drugs issue will come up, which is surely a good thing. personally i find a bunch of wanks on pills 10x more annoying than that advert, so if they see their total patheticness then maybe that's a good thing.
the frosties advert is universally panned! even by heat magazine. it's gonna taste great - yeah, after i punch you repeatedly in the throat.
while also having studied the effect of advertising etc, i admit that i am an advertising whore. if it's done properly, damn right i will be sucked into buying your product or service even if i do know it's all a subtle mind game. galaxy adverts work. magnum ice-cream adverts work. tetley tea adverts, allbran crunchy oatbakes, kelloggs crunchy nut corn flakes, lenor conditioner, radox bubble bath, marmite and various other products all work. once my flatmate and i watched a magnum ice cream ad - the one with all the girls - and all that thrusting of ice cream and snapping of chocolate spurned us into action and, yes, i went straight out the house to the corner shop to buy some.

I'm not sure what advert got me to go out and buy the product recently. I'll have a think about it at work(y)

I've never heard anyone talk about drugs because of that commercial, I have heard people make fun of that kid though. I think if anything, it promotes hating annoying kids which kinda leads to bullying... someone think of the children:(

You know what other commercial makes me want to slap old ladies?
That Halifax commercial where they start singing "we give you extra..." then the dude in front starts "rapping".... terrible... terrible.

ahh, halifax. ooh. they are bad. and they look so serious when they're dancing and everything.
did you know they are real life staff? the toothy blonde girl from the original ads works at the bank of scotland on queen street here, and she gets like total fans and stuff coming in. it's crazy. (bank of scotland/halifax are one and the same)
but as an american - i know now! - do you think the quality of our adverts are higher or lower than your own? admit it, ours are much more creative and sincere! ;)

That little head dip they do towards the end makes me want to punch each of them... HARD. The whole concept of that commercial is lost on me. I liked it when it was just Howard because I have a friend here who kinda looks like him and if we'd be out at the pub, the locals would be like "HOWARD!!!" and the poor dude didn't find out why until recently I guess (and I never told him because I thought it was HILARIOUS!)

I was wondering about that because at the begining it shows their name and city right next to them and I thought to myself "is that REALLY necessary?"

Well... I will say this, commercials over here are certainly... different:rolleyes:

The fucking kodak one with the little kid printing his pictures in the museum - when the museum bloke asks the kid if he needs help, the kid goes "naaaa, I think I got it" The way he says naaaa makes me want to kill puppies.
Also, the whole fucking "zoom zoom" thing that Mazda have going on. FUCK OFF already.
I have more, but my fingers are sore.
I like the one where the kid gets run over by a car in the street.

I hate the 'gorgeous is effortless' bullshit Ferrero Roche crap in the Jaguar ads.
For one I hate the word 'gorgeous' and I hate ANYTHING that equates looks with superiority. It's Nazi bullshit.
I hate all teen directed advertising at the moment - it's all about living in your own daydreamy little world populated by bad rap, MTV, Big Brother, lots of bling, mobile phones, bad haircuts, bad fashion and bad music.

ah, see, now i like the jaguar ones.
i am fully aware of what they are trying to achieve with their effortless, uh, gorgeous models and lighting and what not but it just looks so lush and beautiful. and a big winner is the voice-over - i think it's david carradine's voice. if he told me to drop my pants and smother myself in raspberry jelly, i probably would.

I was in Cambridge Saturday night at this place called "Soul Tree". I hit the restroom and there where fools in there doing lines of coke and what's the first thing that jumps into my drunk head?
"What does that smell like?" Luckily the coke heads thought that was hilarious.
Anyway there is a new commercial that is pissing me off these days... It's a fat woman singing some kinda Aretha Franklin song while walking do the middle of the road and of course everyone starts dancing and shit. Then Howard pops in outta nowhere... it's gotta be the gayest thing on tv right now.

Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrggh I know, everytime Halifax makes one of their annoying "singing banker" commercials they just play it to bloody death don't they! Remember the one they had to the tune of Rhinestone Cowboy? Good god that was awful.
My baby has already picked up on the "Sheila's Wheels" jingle; she starts bobbing up and down to the tune everytime it comes on. Scary.

oh god. this makes me want to throttle myself whenever it comes on. i don't know why they think that a bunch of singing faux australians in pink are going to attract women who insure their cars. i hate the way they say 'bonzer car insurance deaaaallls' do australians even say bonzer? /adds to australian audio hit list. for the uninformed, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrKaQRIXPNw) is the advert we're talking about.
they have another version, though, with joe scully from neighbours in the audience being all 'rough oz man in the outback bar'. we were huge joe scully fans back in our neighbours-watching student days. what has become of him now? i heard he was unfairly sacked or something? :( poor joe!

It gets worst. The most recent advert is asking for people to audition for a new commercial. I think they have a cunt...err I mean cult following

'Oh, they're tired'
Feck off.
And those Picture Loans ones can join them

i hate the maxi pad commercial where the woman stops the flow of a water tower with th power of her ultra pad. gross.
its as bad as the one where the couple are in the boat and it springs a leak and the guy is all freaking out and the girl is like "(lb) " i'll stuff a tampon in the hole!
why do they even have to advertise feminine products? if you need them you'll buy them, you dont have to advertise.
you need an upgrade!
upgrade!
