What do they all have in common? They all are terms used in Buddhism! They are terms to describe different levels of being. I am aware of these things are you?
The 'Damned' are those who have killed and are damned to be reborn. The 'Subhumanz' are people that are preoccupied with sex and condemed to wander the Earth as hungry spirits. The 'Beastie's' are concerned with money and are ruled by a beast within them. You also know that all these Buddist terms are also names of Punk bands! LOL I figured it out (NOFX).
Look it up for yourself. Buddist musi is also a big part of the Beasties!

Well, I've been interested in Buddhism for nearly 18 years and I've never heard these terms unless used in a formal manner, to describe groups of beings.
My other problem is -
The 'Damned' are those who have killed and are damned to be reborn.
You don't have to kill to be reborn, in fact, doing perfectly nothing gets you reborn. Simply being born as human means you did something right in your past life. Samsara may be suffering, but human rebirth is good, a window of opportunity in which to wake up, which brings me to my next point-
The 'Subhumanz' are people that are preoccupied with sex and condemed to wander the Earth as hungry spirits. While there is teaching of a realm of hungry ghosts, it's more likely that an animal rebirth awaits those whose whose lives are based on animal urges. The hungry ghost realm is for those who lived thier lives inthe shadow of an obsessive craving, whatever that was, and it's not so much being doomed to wander, but being doomed to have a hunger and thirst that can never be satisfied.
Now, beast I've just never heard, never heard of a possession by a beast that pushes you to obtain money. There are lots of rich Buddhists out there, and having money is not automatically the problem, it the attachment to things such as money that are the problem.
There chances are these are just words used in a book by someone who is using language they think will help their readers understand, or an odd traslation.
I have wandered in and out of many Mahayana schools since I was a wee lassie, but hey, maybe I'm wrong.
