Ahhhh!

I've been smoke free since Sunday night, and I'm pretty proud. But now, after a routine physical, where I was given an echocardiogram since my heart was beating funny, I've been told I can only have one drink..on occasion..and I can't eat fried foods, butter, etc.

Damn it! My life now sucks!

Oh, and I get to take Digoxin and Coreg (heart meds) every night to strengthen my weak heart.

WTF? I'm only thirty-years-old!

you should take up smoking to relieve the stress on your heart.

for real though, did you tell them you just quit?

Giving up smoking could well be the saviour of your heart. Seeing as smoking makes plaque collect in the arteries, just by doing what you're doing, things should get better.

Dion't give up giving up!!

you should start a safe workout routine. It will help you forget about all those things you have to do without and help you focus on your health.

If it wasnt for working out. I would have never graduated college and I probably would have some type of addiction I would be trying to get rid of.

Ha!

Yeah, I did, and they said, "Don't start back!" like they expected me to go home and smoke an entire pack. I did think about having one more cigarette since I now know I have to quick, but opted for some fried chicken instead. I called it, "The Last Supper". ;) Tonight it's chicken breast and spinach salad. YUM!

And Justin, I do work out in moderation. I lift arm weights to strengthen my arthritic shoulders and neck, do crunches and walk on a track at a park around the corner from my apt. M-F. I haven't been in a couple weeks though due to rain. I'm going to start back tomorrow since the weather has cleared up.

I like your website, cool design (y)

Sucks about the irregular heartbeat though :(, especially considering you always seem to look so healthy, and you are also too young for that stuff. Mind you my dad did have a heart attack at 32 but he was 120 kg (mind you he is 6'5" so I guess its not that fat), and a pack a day smoker. I'm fucked :(

I'd hang myself in my basement if I was given that news.

Thanks! I made it meself! :D

Nah! You're not fucked! You just need to take care of yourself. Moderation is key. I was always a huge fan of excess.

Aww, Blu! I couldn't hang myself. If I was so upset over this that I'd want to die, I'd just smoke a carton of filterless Camels, eat twenty Big Macs and a pound of fries, topping that off with a chili cheese dog and a bananna split from Dairy Queen, then drinking nineteen shots of Patrone and fucking the hell out of the nearest human with a rod until my heart exploded.

Now that, my friend, is a way to go out. ;)

get some funnies from Blockbuster every week. I bought Kingpin at last the other day cos it was real cheap in this place called instore..like a dollar shop, Homer Simpson trays, storage boxes-the see through ones.
Anyway, try to watch something hilarious every day. I find that the trick myself(y) ;)
