So I started to watch Twin Peaks on satellite tv in this days... I was 7 (maybe...or maybe 8) when it came out and too young to follow it, but now I'm so curious to see how it was in the 90's...how the actors were "natural" and stuffs....In your opinion (you = he ones who sa the serial and enjoyed it) how much did Twin Peaks influenced the actual serials??? How scary it was in those years? Was Devid Lynch a fool?

I FUCKING LOVED THIS SHOW when it was out. I had Laura Palmer's Diary, the Twin Peaks tourist guide, everything. I watched it religiously every single time it was on. And yes, it got really fucked up at the end, all my friends and my folks gave up on it, but I kept watching. I love it, I miss it. Good soundtrack too. I still think about Twin Peaks every single time I wear a flannel, or read a post by Heiress.

It was on when I was in law school. All the people I clerked with were watching it and the only reason that show was fun was because we would discuss it later and make fun of the little moments. It was a huge disappointment after the first 10 shows or so.

I tried to watch an episode on cable about a year ago and couldn't believe that I used to record it when I was away.

Oh, and every time I'm in Washington, someone brings up Twin Peaks or Northern Exposure. I wonder when that will stop?

My house mate is watching Twin Peaks at the moment. I'm gonna watch it sometime soon, cause I missed it when it was on TV. I think I was a bit young back then too, so probably wouldn't have got it. Alex reckons it's great tho

i must admit i was addicted to it. 2 years ago i was doing an elective subject called American Film Directors and Genres at uni. they did a bit on David Lynch and Mulholland Drive. I'd never heard of him before and after watching Mulholland Drive i got into Twin Peaks, watched a series a week. Good shit, easier to understand than Mulholland Drive, that movie was just fucking weird

I don't get your post. I loved the show, I dled it like 3 times already, all the episodes, every time I got a new HD, cause the old one died. Now I'm just gonna get the DVDs and laugh at my dying PC. Yeah, the show rocks, but there is little if no continuity ( I think this is what you meant). I like how Ed & his wife also played a couple in people under the stairs.

There was a japanese coffee ad, that is actually a missing episode, but I know nothing else about it.

Now I want coffee and a damn good pie!

A friend loaned me all of his VHS copies many years ago when I was laid up with the flu. Besides being very entertaining, the show made perfect sense.

Dude, I'd never have loved this so much if it made any sense. ;-)
I remember when it was first broadcast tv guides fueled a (tv)nationwide whodunnit amongst viewers, but when the series became darker (Sheryl Lynn almost ends up in bed with her father in One Eyed Jacks) everybody was like "Oh, it is so weird. Not like a normal crime movie, everybody is sooo disappointed by it" etc. Well, screw 'em, that show was years ahead of its time.

Wild Palms I remember NOTHING about...
