Do people really need a news update that I added or removed "Fine Young Cannibals" from my favorite music list? What the fuck.

in one of the groups that is against the change, there is an excellent trash talking series of posts started by some guy named frank.
frank goes to a shit school in jersey and is apparently both homosexual and a douchebag.

Is it the Official Facebook Live Feed Petition group?
I kept refreshing the page, and saw that 100 people were joining every 5 seconds. Crazy.

this uproar is stupid. If it was there when facebook was first made up, you would praise it for it.
And it's not showing private data, you can pick what you want to show, and what they are displaying is stuff that they would already see if they went to your facebook page.
It's a smart idea. whiners.

I think it's just one step closer to stalking. It's completely unnecessary. It's like people on myspace who keep putting up the bulletins of 'NEW PIX, Y'ALL!' Yeah, if we're your friend, we'll find out about new pics. No need broadcasting it like a total attention whore.
I'd have no problem with it if I could cancel all of my live feed crap in ONE click. I hate how I have to go back and say "hide story" after everything I do. I didn't join facebook to cover my tracks of what I do, just so people aren't stalking down my every movement. I joined to keep up with friends, and meet up with old ones again (which I've done with many of them). Now it's just sort of...scary.

I still find the stalking issue to be weak. If they are going to stalk you, they are going to do it anyways. And I would rather have facebook tell me who updated rather than going through all my friends. Plus I would like to have that on myspace so those dumbass bulletin posts would go away.

I can see where you're coming from, but still gotta disagree. Just because I've found myself to be clicking on those live feeds from my friends, when I've never cared to see what they've been doing before. And then I realize, oh shit, people are probably doing that to me, too. And I personally don't want my brother to read all the perverted stuff I leave on people's walls. I mean, he can't read some of my friends' walls because he's not friends with them, but now it'll tell him "Hey Diana said this!" and it's like, dammit, can't I sexually harass people in peace? I don't want to have to watch what I do. :(

i think they just wanted to add something, but ran out of creative side items to do, so they did this.
its not that i hate it all, but it does seem a bit much. i'm sure most people wouldnt care if it was an optional thing. most of the other features they ahve added have been that way, so why change?
