I decided to finally get cracking on the flash project that my prof has been yelling at me about. Since imageshack can host them, and they're still pretty small files, I'll post a few progress shots as I'm going for you to critique and enjoy!

Arg, I had to take a time-out in the middle of the project I'm working on to do an example for lab. This professor is really working us hard. Our assignment was to do an animation using phonemes and lipsyncing with sound.

I threw together this piece with Henry Rollins saying the line at the end of "Sixpack." Droppinscience might be into it - but it's really just an exercise in doing phonemes ala Southpark. We'll see what my prof thinks of it tomorrow in lab.

(oh, also it's more progress on my "draw like Crumb" stint)

I don't know if anyone really cares still, but the project's due date is closing in, so I'm posting the "beta" link. It's starting to get actually cool...but it still doesn't have a lot of the features I wanted. I'm trying to figure out how to get the backgrounds to fall behind the figure, how to change the figure movieclip's color to white...how to fade the music in and out...all sorts of stuff like that.

Now there's actually something worth looking at. It's not quite done, some polishing, a little more sound here and there, but it's getting there.

Spent a lot of time figuring out how to load things in right, work with sounds...whine whine complain.

Anyways, it's about 2MB, so if you have a slow connection or are impatient...whatever.

Hope you like it! (http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mwallac/CGT353/Delta/play.html)

Last bump, I promise. It's due this afternoon, and I just finished it.

It's about 3MB.

If you watch it and like it, please let me know. :)
