like, ten cent pieces. it's kinda like a tiny reward for cleaning. we still haven't found that fucking $100 though.

australian coins are annoying cos the $1 is the same size as our $2 and the $2 is the same size as our $1

really? i thought they were pretty much the same. you can use NZ coinage here, i think. or maybe they just don't check or care.

yeah, they give me the shits. 20 cent pieces are worse though because they're all heavy and large and cumbersome but not worth much.

I once found a $10 bill stuck in the cushion of my couch. So I went out and wasted it on a corn dog and Tab. Then I realized it was my $10 to begin with. I felt like (and) shit for the rest of the day.

we had this friend who used to stay over everynight on the couch for about 2 months, and every morning we'd all try to be the first to get up and check the couch after he left because we'd seriously find about $2 in quarters every single time.

i wish he still hung out.

how pricey is fuel up there?
it's only $1.25 per litre, but i need to do alot of driving for work. I drive a pajero and it gets between 350 - 400 k's from an 88 litre tank! so $110 in fuel each week aint much fun!

yeah, i sold my lancer about a month ago and i've been stuck driving this spare beast of mine until i get something new. it's really easy to drive and a damn fun car to drive too. it'd be even more fun if petrol was half the price it is tho!

a sirion? i never would have thought of that :p

why'd you sell the lancer?
it was a lemon, something was going wrong with it all the time so i gave it to my parents to trade in because my mum was getting a new car. it was prolly the only way i would've gotten rid of it too. You see, what the car salesman negliected to tell us when i got the car was that it'd been in a near write off accident and was pretty much fucked. i'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Still managed to get $3500 for it tho. didn't think that was too bad when i paid $5500 for it and had it for 3 and a half years

I found a twenty dollar bill on the kitchen counter over the weekend. I didn't know where it came from so I just put it in the daughter's piggy bank.

yeah, thats pretty decent!

car salesmen are useless. i remember going out and looking at cars and they'd be all like "this one has heating and electric windows"

and i'm just like..oh, god. please stop talking down to me.
yeah i know hey. that's why my next one's going to be a brand new one :D

Martha Stewart says that towels make a lovely gift because everybody uses them. Whether you're giving them away or straightening your linen closet, follow these directions for folding.

Use a flat surface to lay the towel out lengthwise.
Fold the towel in thirds lengthwise. Make sure to keep the edges as even as possible.
Fold the towel in half lengthwise.
Fold the towel in half again.

Crumple it up in a ball.
Throw it in the corner of the bathroom.
