i just don't understand. i mean, i figure they have to stand in front of a mirror for a LONG fucking time to get that all set up, so don't they ever step back and go, wait a second, i look like a skanky clown? if you sneeze and a layer falls off, it's time to tone it down.

there's this one girl that's a friend of a friend...and she has to use a damned paintroller, i swear. so many girls i know are like this. they have bad skin, so they wear bottles of foundation to cover it up. which makes their skin even worse. oh, and of course you have to shave off your eyebrows and paint new ones IN A VERY THIN LINE WITH A LARGE ARCH SO YOU LOOK REALLY SURPRISED  on because real hair is gross.

i do get the urge to carry makeup remover towellettes (towelettes? twalettes? cotton balls) and chloroform in my backpack for tackling and de-skanking purposes. the best is how makeup is advertised as giving you that "fresh-faced" look. ladies, it's supposed to accentuate your natural beauty and best features. not shellacking over your insecurities.

I love playing with make up. Crazy colors and all that. Only if the outfit and night out calls for that though (such as my silly 80s cover band nights). Otherwise, I think that it's best to keep it simple, light, and natural.

those towelettes are good but i meant so you could spray them in the face when they're not looking and give them that oh so melty face look. truly beautiful women are the kind that can look that way naturally without too much smoke and mirrors. a lot of women must get caught up in a vicious cycle, make up to cover bad skin, worse skin more make up and so on. crackheads

this is funny. i always think that girls who wear lots of makeup had moms that were all insecure about their faces too. cause my mom taught me about makeup, mostly how it's a fine line between looking polished and looking whorish, and i better stay on the prude side of the line. which also meant i didnt use any makeup until i was all grown.

i have really bad skin, i'm spotty as fuck. so i do wear foundation, not the liquid stuff, just some powder. i know it probably makes it worse.

I know those girls who wear a whole bottle of foundation. And it's so thick and not blended you can see where the layer of foundation meets the actual skin color right under their jawbone (since they can't perfectly match the color of the foundation to their skin the line is pretty fuckin' obvious).

One girl I knew wore SO much makeup, I wanted to walk up to her and put my finger on her hairline and run it down the middle of her face. Then she'd have to get her touch-up paint foundation to fill in the cracks. Gross.

I don't wear makeup on a day-to-day basis. Only when I go out on the weekends, or if I look in the mirror and think "holy fuck I'm pale!"

i wear mascara and lipstick and that's it. i swear that not clogging my pores with all that shit is why my skin is pretty healthy. and one of three reasons why i don't have crow's feet -- that shit has to dry your skin out.

yeah probably...

my mum didn't teach me anything about makeup... lol i have to teach her
she's a feminist who hasn't worn makeup since she was 20
now she's 54... she feels the need to start wearing it to special events like weddings

i can handle girls wearing too much makeup (barely) but i absolutely CANT STAND overplucked eyebrows.

I sit next to a girl in class who wears too much.

I think she would be pretty without it...but sadly she prefers to look like a clown

simple, light, and natural.

Otherwise you are beyond repair. Shit, when you need to drawn a body part on you're taking it a little too far.

i thought crows feet was caused by squinting/spending time in the sun
i'm not even close to getting crows feet, and i've worn sunglasses since i was 5 years old. sunglasses are the answer (y)

^ reasons 1 & 2.

i figure all the weird things you do to your eyes to put on eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc can cause some sort of squinting (part of reason 1) and if your skin is all dried out, or clogged, or whatever, that contributes as well.

it's not at all scientific.

i think putting on eyeliner/mascara has given me forehead wrinkles :(
they are really prominent on my otherwise wrinkle free face

I work with a woman who loves the sun, smokes, is always stressed and drinks coffee all day. She looks like a total prune, and she's only 50.
Her 76 year old mother has a smoother face. She has to be the most wrinkly person I have ever seen, and she fills her wrinkle cracks with make up every day, giving a kind of crazy-paved/mosaic effect.

That seems to me if they got in a car accident, they could get an eyeliner pencil through the eyeball.

the only thing worse than a girl wearing a half an inch of makeup is the girls that wear those huge faceglasses that look like they're boyfriend gave them two black eyes and they are trying to hide it

I wonder what a bukkake shower looks like on a girl after it gets all crusty and gnarly.

I now want to regurgitate.

oh god, I just hate it when I see these girls with an unnaturally orange skincolour, and as cosmo said, the shaved and drawn eyebrows. What thee fuck is that all about? I bet these girls have waxed their minges before they even had hair on 'em, just as a prevention. Eww.

I only use makeup when I go out. And then it's simple. No foundations or anything, just some mascara, dark eyeshadow and a wee bit of eyeliner.
Just darkness to make me look extra gothy.

huh? wha? ok well anywayz.......no i mean sum girls look pretty without make up...and some guys look good natural....and some girls who look ugly put on make-up to look normal or pretty ...so why can't normal/ugly guys do this to enhance themselves too?...........i'm not saying i want them to but people think a guy is weird if he puts on make-up cuz its only ok for a woman
