Gotta agree.

Way funnier (more funny?) than the original. Loved the end where it's "full circle" and the lady's on the floor looking at the expiration dates on the milk cartons again.

Too bad it didn't get more play because it was quite well done and hillarious to boot.

That was another great scene....the dialogue back and forth and when the one clerk dude is mocking LOTR while espousing the virtues of the "one and only trilogy..."

I haven't seen it but I don't think I would like it, I really love the original and it just seems too different for me to like it, it really should be one of the movies without a sequel.

I thought the same thing. Rented Clerks (hadn't ever seen it before) a few days before I saw Clerks II....

Clerks 2 is so much better. The actors' roles are fleshed out...there's plenty of raunch...the jokes are setup in a much more mature and discernible fashion...there's great cameos....

Just like The Empire Strikes Back was way better than A New Hope (and Superman 2 was better than Superman and The Wrath of Khan was better than Star Trek the Movie...etc....), Clerks 2 kicks ass over the original....

No disrespect to the orignal, mind you...

It's finally gonna be shown in Sweden, at the Filmfestival, but we haven't received any pre-screening copies, so I have to wait almost a month. There's some pre-screening copies for a couple of Think Film -movies tho... ;)
