lots of you have cats, so tell me, what does it mean when my kitty's poop looks like peanut butter and jelly? i thought he just ate garbage, but then yesterday another kitty did it once too. i could put it on a piece of bread and you wouldn't know the difference. well, if it didn't smell so bad you wouldn't.

no shit it's bloody stool! what do you think the jelly component was! it only happened once though, which led me to think it was trash eating. ewww i don't wanna scoop poop into a plastic baggie.

This guy I knew had a pet monkey...and one day he asked me if i could wipe up this glob of peanut butter on his porch....it looked just like peanut butter but was his monkey's poop.

if it's red in color it probably means he has a cut at the end of his poop shoot and whatever he's eating is aggrivating it...if he starts pooping black, it means he is digesting it and it's internal bleeding which is really bad. Either way, call the vet and bring them a stool sample, yea it's gross but you'll find out what the prob is either way.

Had this problem with Jaxon about a year ago, turns out it was the food he was on, so I changed it and no more bloody poops!

Jelly is made when blood mixes with mucous. The redder the blood, the fresher the jelly is. As already stated, black poo is worse the red poo.
