Yeah, that is the famous corner on the cover of the album. The thrift shop is no longer there, though. It's a coffee or ice cream shop... or something rather. I was there the other day but it was closed.

There never was a Paul's Boutique in that general area. The PB album cover photo was staged... If memory serves the real name of the store was Lee's or something.

Ice Cube is now on the list of honorees as well this year & Lil Kim is supposed to make her 1st performance since getting out of jail & she's gonna perform to honor MC Lyte

I know this has been brought up already, but I still have no idea who they'll get to perform a Beasties song??? My guesses would be somebody old school. Maybe PE, Cypress Hill, or LL?

i have a feeling that these are the artist that have been chosen to honor the honorees.....hopefully q-tip & talib kweli are going to honor the boys cuz i'd be kinda dissapointed if it turns out to be the other artists....

I actually think the Beastie Boys will just perform themselves, cause I can't see any of the artists named honoring them. The biggest shock is Rakim is being honored, but I didn't see Nas name anywhere. To me only Nas should be honoring Rakim.

Seems to be working now & actually loaded pretty quick for me. Check out Adrock's shirt. It's one of those cheesy 80's airbrush shirts- Adam & Kathleen forever! I wonder if that's the next "thing" that they're bringing back??!!
