Beastie's concert

I've never been there. Or at anyone's concert. And I would ask you if someone can tell me anything about his experience at a Beastie's concert.
This would be so precious for me!

i have no first hand experience, but i have a pretty vivid imagination and can do things like that and it feels like actually being there. it helps. i have dreams i'm at a concert at least. and getting pulled onstage....

oh the lucky ones who get to BE there! :o

Ok, to answer your question, I've been to 4 shows and they were all amazing. The best though, I would have to say was Lollapollooza 94. It was outdoors, I got about 20ft from the stage & the vibe was great. A lot of people in the crowd decked out in Adidas suits & in Beastie costumes, someone started a Paul Revere type singalong before the show. They opened with Sure Shot & Mike D tossed his visor into the crowd not too far from where I was. They played the instrumentals, punk songs & older stuff. I think Adrock smashed a guitar at one point too. It was about 100 degrees out, so the crew hosed off the crowd a few times. It turned into a muddy mess & I ruined a pair of adidas but it was well worth it!

When you do go to a show my advice is to spend the extra money & get general admission tickets. You can get much closer to the stage & you're in the middle of the action. Had a seat for the Hello Nasty tour & it wasn't nearly as much fun.

haha well i was just wondering the other day "wutever happened to talita?" anywayz i'm glad you're back! & that you got beastie boy concert tickets...are they performing close to where u live? (Brasil right?)

They will play in my country, but it will be in RIO and I live in SAO PAULO. 4 hours in a road. I'm happy though.
