My baby has the chicken pox, and this is the second time he's had it.

I've been told that after having it once, you should be immune. In rare cases, people can get it twice. This proves Aiedyn is a rather rare individual.

At least we got to spend the cold and rainy day at home.

Thanks! :D

Yeah, but he's handling it pretty well. His Gameboy is an ace distraction.

Now I'm hoping I don't get it. I don't remember having it as a child, but I didn't get it last time.

A mate of mine had it twice as a kid. It isn't any more harmful the 2nd time round.

Either way, he's still alive and kickin.

I know this girl that has a scar from chick pox on her boobie and it kind of makes it look like she had a third nipple coming in but it never quite made it.

I had it during Christmas when I was 7. It was terrible because those little fuckers are everywhere and itch like hell.

I don't think I've seen kids with chicken pox, not even the scarring. Not since I was little. I wonder why that is.

no, I tried doing tune in tokyo with it, and pinching it, but it wasn't raised since it was a scar. I never thought about hitting the faux nipple though. That would just be rude...and I didn't want to give it anymore attention since she was a bit embarassed about it.

my sister is 32 and never had them. I heard that its really bad/dangerous to get them when you are older? True? or No Deal?

I edited to say not even with scarring. Like, no evidence they've ever had it. 'Tis weird.

i dunno...i don't think its that weird. all the scars on me are from acne or falling down. none from chicken pox that I know of. same with the wife. Isn't it kind of normal not to get scars if you don't go fucking about with the pox?

Speaking of acne. I have this zit smack dab in the middle of my forehead right now. it makes me look Hindu. Isn't 30 years old too old to be getting zits?

I get one or two zits when Aunt Flo is preparing for her visit, and HA on the third nipple.

Aiedyn never had scarring from his first pox ordeal. He may this time, though. He has one on his side he's scratched the Bejesus out of.

I don't think it's more dangerous when you are older, it's just worse when you are older. You get more sores and since adults don't have super-mega imaginations to distract themselves like kids do, it's itching hell. Or so I've heard.

I've never had chicken pox. am I gonna die?

Yes. Aiedyn is sending you the cyber pox right now as I type. The next time you touch your mouse, you'll be infected!

Buahahahahahaha!

The older you get, Chicken Pox is more dangerous. Higher fever, lasts longer, etc.

Also, with the vacinations they have nowadays, the pox has mutated and getting it multiple times is not as uncommon.

What trips up us old folks is the shingles -- a kissing cousin of the Chicken Pox.

No, no. I mean I haven't seen little kids with chicken pox or seen them with scarring, and yet I hear that kids get it all the time still. I remember I had scarring for at least a year.

And I suppose that you can avoid scarring if you don't itch, but try telling a little kid not to itch themselves. It's terrrribly hard.
