I first thought it was allergies, and then my sore throat turned into a stuffed up nose and I'm miserable now. And I can't take any personal leave because I use that shit for vacation instead.

I can't smell anything and I'm forced to breathe out my mouth. I've been watching Comedy Central and downloading Depeche Mode.

I feel shitty. :(

Whar Depeche Mode did you download.

I recently bought the collector's edition Music For The Mases.

I used to be such a Mode-head when I was a tween.

i was ill from friday thru wednesday, too. but i had monday and tuesday off already for holidays, so it was alright. and, erm, i sorta drank all the way through it. i never ever get sniffles or anything, but i have been working my ass off in 2 jobs and various short term film things for weeks and weeks, so i'm really run down. it'll probably get worse if i don't chill out for a bit, but i'm working this weekend too :( skin is getting bad as well because i'm not eating right. och well. such is life.

get better soon! apart from wine, i drank lots of lucozade (power drink - d'ya get it o'er there?) and seriously, it helps.

I started it the night before, it just got really bad last night with a stuffy nose. I wish it was the sub, then I could sue them and get free sammiches fo' life!

I'm on Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom, chicken soup, and tea right now. This apple cinnamon tea I brought with me is awesome. I've had 4 cups and plan on another 2-3 by the end of the day. I think I want to go to this specialty store later on and get English blueberry tea.(y)

You know what the worst feeling is? Almost sneezing. You feel the tickling in your sinuses, your eyes start to well up and close, and ahh-ahh-AHHHH-----nothing.

Then you have the stinging backlash in your face of not being able to sneeze.

Did you try looking up at the sun or some light? Often, that'll dislodge those near-sneezes. No idea why it works.

It's crazy, I know, but don't you have SICK TIME, as opposed to personal leave time? Seems like they'd want to let the sick person get better rather than spread the disease.

Ha, well, they give me 15 days of "Personal Leave" and I get to decide what is vacation, and what is sick time. So I guess it's like normal people who get 2 weeks vacation and 1 week of sick leave. I don't want to use my personal time for sickness though, because I'd rather see Brett when I can. :o

My brother has SO much sick leave saved up from his job. About 4 hours a pay period, he started in August of '05 and has taken only one day. I'm like, tell them you have mono and stay home and play video games for 5 days because you CAN! And he'd still have time for when he was really sick. I hate him.

It works with light fixtures, too. Seriously. Basically, if you're itching but not sneezing, you need a light source that you have to look UP at, and hold it there for a moment, and you'll sneeze.

Tylenol Cold actually made it worse. I may be allergic to something in it, that's the only explanation I have.
