As far as I can see, the only people on that page that have been here as long if not longer than me are Bob, A-Z, Heiress, and Chewy.

I've been here since '98, so I think that's 2 purges.

First, it was 1,000 posts. And then it was 3,800 posts. So, altogether I have something like 9,800 in 8 years. :(

Do you guys remember when Miss Soul Fire was the first to break the 10,000 mark? And we were all proud of her? It makes me sad to see her status now because she worked so hard to get where she was.

I've been here since maybe September 2002. I remember the board going under right around the start of the Iraq war and didn't think to return until May 2003.

As far as I'm aware, I've only been around for one of these "purges" (which, weirdly enough, didn't even affect my post count... I think) But I'm sure I'm probably very close to what my actual post count is.

But the Members List rankings isn't reflective of people's true post counts. For one, there's the purges. But also, there's people who have shifted user names (e.g. Rosie Cotton switched to Medellia, and both usernames have 3000 posts each; NLOL has been MOA and Shah of Iran and Lobster Prize, so the guy has lots of posts from 4 different usernames). That's not even taking into account people who do the alias stuff (either as a joke or to "hide").
