So, do you like it or do you love it?

I haven't had any for about a year and just rediscovered it with my cold. I had 7 cups yesterday and I plan on having 8 cups today. I'm on number 6 right now.

It's uncaffeinated apple cinnamon. Damn this shit be good. (y)

I dig tea.

During the summer, I like citrus teas. Fruity teas, as well. During the holiday season, I enjoy this tea called Sugar Plum Spice by Celestial Seasonings. I usally add a drop of honey to it. It's great for fighting off the winter chill. Lately, I've been drinking a lot of chai. I prefer it half sweetened. Most days, though, I tend to have Lady Grey tea with just milk. Skim.

here is what you do.

you get your ordinary bags of lipton tea. throw 4 in there if you are making 3 cups...5 if you are making 4...so on and so forth.
pour some milk in that bitch. a few cloves...some cardomon...and cinamon (give the cinamon and cardomon a quick smash to bring out the flavors more). bring to a boil. let it boil for a couple of minutes. and then let it simmer for about 3 minutes after that.

and that is how you get Chai. which can be found at any of your local indian restaraunts.

oh...and sweeten it with honey if need be instead of sugar. Ya heard!?!?!?

Sugar Plum Spice is so good! Did you know they (CS) have other holiday spice teas? Gingerbread Spice is one of them.

I also like the Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer and Emperor's Choice.

Hells yes I know about them. I've tried them all. I actually stocked up on a few different ones last December. So if I'm ever in the mood for Nutcracker Sweet or Gingerbread spice, I can hook that up.

uncaffeinated?

Yeah mang. I can't do caffeine. It's bad for you, plus I was so used to drinking uncaffeinated when I lived with my parents (dad's migraine diet won't let him have any caffeine), when I finally had some I went totally haywire and my heart almost exploded out of my chest. Bad stuff.

I think she's trying to correct you. She probably wants you to say decaffeinated or something.^

I like red tea and the standard british ones.

I can handle some orange or mango in my tea, but I don't like tea with apple or cinnamon or lemon flavor. I don't like tea that smells like perfume.

I like skim milk in my tea and sometimes honey if it's a black tea.

fuck those gay tea infusers shaped like a heart

I throw my tea leaves in a french press and it is so much quicker and easier to steep tea that way

I buy most of my tea loose from local shops, my favorite variety right now is called "monks blend"

I like starbucks fancy extra herbs added earl grey, cause it tastes so damn good

my friend who lives in victoria always buys me some type of tea they serve at the Queen Victoria Hotel for the holidays

jesu christo I love tea!

But isn't there a difference? Like decaffeinated USED to have caffeine in it and they've extracted it, whereas uncaffeinated just never had it?

I just know that decaf coffee still has *some* caffeine in it. Enough to make me feel it. I can't drink coffee at all, because I'm really sensitive.

you just say "tea." you don't have to say "uncaffeinated." herbal tea does not contain caffeine. only teas derived from the green tea plant (green, black, white, etc) contain caffeine. jeez, diana. i mean seriously. this is you: DUHHHH.

i'm a tea whore. i love me some peppermint for digestion, ginger for nausea, my pms blend for water rentention, my bedtime blend for sleepies, and anything else you can throw at me. there's a great tea shop near my hometown that sells a lovely lychee tea, as well as a chocolate blend. and spiced chai is always nummers.

i can't do caffeine either though. as much as i love english breakfast tea, i can't do more than a cup.

But Cosmo, herbal tea isn't really tea. It's an herbal infusion. However, we refer to it commonly as tea so it's okay to call it tea. It's technically only tea if it comes from the tea leaf. So if you just say "tea" then one might assume you meant actual tea which contains caffeine. Keeping in mind the commonality of calling herbal infusions "tea" and the fact of the tea leaf plant containing caffeine, it does seem to clarify things to specify whether or not the "tea" has caffeine.

That's what I'm SAYING, that people call it tea not infusion. That's why you have to say whether or not the "tea" has caffeine, and you can't just call it tea.

She is precious.
But, I should say that I actually love Pippi Longstocking. She was a pirate's daughter with a sack of gold coins, super-human strength, and no parental supervision. I saw the movie when it came out in 1988 and at the time it meant a lot to me, although I'm terrified of watching it now and experiencing another weeki wachee disaster.

I fixed someone Chamomile tea once and he thought I'd pissed in the mug as a prank. I drink it though, the tea not the piss, to cure an upset tummy. It works I think. One time I felt awful after an encounter with some mysterious tomatoes in a darkened room and the chamomile really helped.
