Like... the Manhattan/Times Square area in particular?

I'm going there in November and want to have some cool stuff to do... oh, and hit up some record stores as well if anyone has that much info.

Or just point me in the direction of someplace other than search engines that I can find this info by myself... 'cause all Google does is give me TOO much stuff to look at.

Anyway, record stores, and any cool shows that might be going on are the top things on my list. Restaurants are a close second... and if you can tell me where the Cash Cab drives around, that would be cool too, 'cause I would kick that show's ass.

Thanks in advance?

Sure, a few blocks away in the Manhattan area, near Broadway, is a bus you can take that will drive you down to DC. The ride is 4 hours, and $35 roundtrip.

Don't be lame. Come visit us.

Yeah how cold is it in November over there? I'm used to 30 degress being cold as all hell. I would assume that dressing like this dude (http://wandel.ca/hurricane/0313-141214_andrew.jpg) would be the only way to go?

it gets pretty freaking cold especially once you get off the crosstown streets and the wind hits you. And steam rises from the sewer, and it smells like hot nuts and charcoal.

Cash Cab: According to Variety, Discovery Channel initially ordered 40 episodes from Lion Television and taping of the initial run was completed in November 2005. A new set of 40 episodes were taped in 2006 to be aired in 2006.

I'll be with some women-folk... one of whose place I'm staying at. I don't think ditching 'em would be a good idea.

You make the four hour and thirty-five dollar trip. I'll be waiting.

Actually, yes, I do say. I think a lot of people are interested in dining out at unusual places when they visit a new place... especially one like New York City.

Me being fat is one thing that's actually (slowly) changing... but you'll probably always be an idiot that makes ignorant schoolyard jokes.

imo the best thing to do in nyc is to get lost and do whatever comes across. lose the tourist crap. forgotten-ny.com is a good resource

Extra Cheese is the most elusive board member ever. He's like that guy from the 80's movie "Summer School" that slept all the time and was a chippendale dancer. He busts in and you never expect it.
