Kentucky has some huge man-made lakes that have channels and coves and so on and so forth that count as shoreline. My family goes down to one of them every year, it's not as hard to believe once you've seen the size of those lakes.

I passed through the handle on my way to Tennessee. I was like half an hour from Knoxville and it was dueling-banjos country. Holy shit. I never want to travel through KY/TN again because that really scared me. Just being there for 10 minutes I was thinking "Damn city folk with their homobortion drug parties."
